Blue Bird High School was established in 1961 in Sylhet. It was started as a primary school (up to class 5) and later developed to junior high school and then to college. From 2006 an additional college section has been introduced. It includes a large academic building, a laboratory and a library with rich collections. The institution is one of the most successful in public examinations in Sylhet, Bangladesh.
